How Many Pictures Does it take?

How many pictures does it take to get the perfect Christmas picture? So far 185 pictures have been taken. Do we stop or do we keep going? We ask ourselves this a few times over an hour and finally decided to stop and choose one. We pull out a few our favorites and select one. In the end, we are surprised by the one we have chosen, but it is indeed a very sweet picture. We did a few different photo shoots over a course of three days, learning how to set up a picture, waiting for both boys to be awake and happy. In the end we choose a picture of both of them looking very cuddly. I will post a few of our options, but not the picture until later this month.

Happy 8 weeks Boys!

You are 8 weeks old! We are so amazed at how much you have grown and how much our hearts have swelled with love for both of you. Each day I awake and wonder what new things will happen? Sometimes one of you will decide to eat less, nap more or kick your feet! Cooper you have been really into kicking your feet. I think you like to make sure your P.J. are comfy before we tuck you into your crib and sometimes you really just like to kick both feet out straight. Jackson you my little one are so good at snuggling right into mommy, as I am patting your back. Today Jackson you were really looking at me with your beautiful big eyes and long eye lashes! Both of you today were squealing, what fun noises to hear. I wonder what you will do tomorrow?

Today Gram came over to see you and you both put on a big show for her. She said she had never seen you more awake! You both were kicking, squirming and squealing. This afternoon Mimmy is coming over to see you. Yesterday we picked Mimmy up at school, because it snowed. Mimmy doesn't like to drive in the snow. We drove to her school and picked her up and then went over to play at her house. Each day really is a new adventure. We love you so much. We only have one request will you sleep for more than 4 hours! Sometimes you will sleep for 4 hours, but most nights we have to go in and fix you up. We don't mind helping you because we know you are so little, but we are getting a little tired. Last night you both needed lots of extra swaddling and your pacifiers put back in and pats on the heads. And at one point Daddy had to go in a sing you back to sleep. Maybe tonight you will be so tired you will just sleep all night.

Here are a few pictures of you at 8 weeks.
